About The Presenter
Chelsea Moore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York and works as the Clinical Director and therapist for the Victims Assistance Center and their program the Child Advocacy Center of NNY. Chelsea has been at the Victims Assistance Center since 2015 and providing trauma based therapy since 2012. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Keuka College in 2010 and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo in 2011.
Chelsea has attended numerous trainings and is a member in good standing with the National Association of Social Workers. Chelsea is a certified Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) therapist and certified in Phase I of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Chelsea is also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Alternatives for Families- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is currently in the process of being certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy.
Dr. Sam Rubenzahl
Dr. Sam Rubenzahl has over 20 years of experience as a clinical-child psychologist. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and his doctoral degree from Southern Illinois University. He was the Chief Psychologist and Coordinator of Children’s Services for Lewis County Mental Health for over a decade.
For the past 13 years he has been the co-owner of RKA Psychological Services, which has offices in Watertown and Lowville. He treats children, adolescents, and adults; provides family therapy; conducts psychological testing; testifies as an expert witness in Family Court and Criminal Court; and provides consultation and trainings.
